ToneScribe Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All audio processing happens entirely on your device.

Overview

ToneScribe Pro converts audio recordings into MIDI using on-device machine learning. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.

Data That Stays on Your Device

The following data is accessed and stored locally on your device only:

Audio files — You select audio files to convert. These are read locally and never uploaded anywhere.
MIDI files — Converted MIDI files are saved to the app's local storage on your device.
App preferences — Settings such as detection sensitivity, instrument selection, and other preferences are stored locally using standard iOS storage.

No Data Collection

ToneScribe Pro does not:

Collect any personal information
Use analytics or tracking services
Include any third-party advertising SDKs
Send any data to external servers
Access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone beyond audio file processing
Create user accounts or require sign-in

In-App Purchases

ToneScribe Pro offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full version. This transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.

On-Device Processing

All audio-to-MIDI conversion is performed locally on your device using a machine learning model that runs without any internet connection. No audio data ever leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

ToneScribe Pro does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The only external service involved is Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases.

Children's Privacy

ToneScribe Pro does not collect any personal data from any user, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since we do not collect any contact information, we are unable to notify users directly of changes.
